2015  Offers a La Grave Special Edition of this ski that has been redesigned to increase ease, versatility & edge hold on its predecessor. We have stocked K2 since we started the business & with the range & quality of their skis it is easy to see why.  Speak to any staff member & they own or would like to own at least one pair from the K2 range. This year K2 have added Ro X technology across a number of the women’s range to improve their edge hold & torsional stiffness in the tip as well as help vibration dampening. This was utilized in the men’s range last season with great response & is now spread out across more of their range.  This, combined with their new Baseline 2.0 technology has changed the performance of their women specific range & they have done this by using a new comprehensive build process where a skis top shape is redesigned to complement the side profile along the entire ski.  They have called this ‘ Baseline 2.0’ & K2 has managed to engineer skis for varied skier types & even different styles of skiing, while also finely tuning them for a specific snow condition. The legacy of Doug Coombs lives on in this fully redesigned La Gave edition Coomback.  At 104mm underfoot, the new ski features tip & tail taper, sidewalls underfoot & increased Rocker.  Building on the Coom Back legacy, the new Coom Back 104 has increased ease, versatility & edge hold than its predecessor. These skis use the Baseline 2 Backside construction.  These are built with a powder influenced design with progressively more taper as the widths increase., making the ski steer easier in soft & unpredictable snow. The profile of the tips is long & low with All-Terrain Rocker for smooth planning through softer snow & increased versatility..  The waist widths allow medium to long radius sidecuts for reduced weight & to empower confidence during medium to long turns, while the camber on these skis is medium to low for a consistent feel in a variety of snow conditions.   Finally the tails offer greater versatility by allowing skier to adjust the arc mid-turn & makes the turn release easier.  The tail profiles are flat & allow the skier to plunge the tails into the snow in order to build anchors. The Cinch technology from K2 gets you from chair lift to riding quicker than your friends. Set your ankle & toe straps to get the perfect fit then never have to crank those ratchets again. The fast & simple operation means that you can get your boot in & out in one movement. The Highback leans backwards & the ankle strap moves forwards to allow for easy access. Pull the leaver up & you have the perfect fit time & time again. Add some quality components like the Harshmellow Canted Footbeds & the nicely padded Custom Caddi straps & you’ve got a high performing, comfortable & most of all quick binding system. Specification: Cinch C2 Chassis Cinch Asym Highback Custom Caddi Ankle Strap Cam-Lock Centering Tool-Less Universal Toe Strap Hella LTVD RADchet Multi-Compatible & Offset Discs Seamless EVA, Canted Harshmellow, Adjustable Power Ramp footbeds Flex 1-10/ soft-hard: 5

Features:
K2’s patented Cinch Technology offers riders the fit & performance of traditional strap bindings & the speed & convenience of a ‘quick entry’ system. Base/ Heelcups The Cinch C2 Chassis allows the highback to be lowered whilst also pushing the ankle strap forward for easy & quick access. Pull the leaver on the highback up to lock the heelcup & chassis, along with your boot, into place. The reinforced nylon baseplate & cored side rails are both strong & light. Canted Harshmellow footbeds tilt inwards by 3 degrees towards the centre of the board. This takes pressure off the knees & reduces fatigue by matching your natural leg position, whilst also providing a solid platform for popping ollies. Harshmellow is the dampening material that K2 uses in some their boards, boots & bindings for superior vibration & impact reduction. The Adjustable Power Ramp means that you can extend the toe end of the binding upto the edge of your snowboard in order to transfer maximum power from binding to edge. Straps: The Custom Caddi ankle strap super padded for extra comfort with a mini ladder cover to help prevent the build up of ice. Universal Toe Straps can be worn round the toe or over the top of your boot & the Tool-less Cam-Lock means that you can change the position of the toe strap without removing the bindings from your board, or the need for tools. To do this the binding needs to be in the open position. Highback: Asymmetrical to match your natural stance & with a centre spine for heel-edge response, the Cinch Asym Highback is finished with thermo-formed EVA calf padding for comfort. Discs: The Cinch CTS comes supplied with two sets of discs. The Offset Discs allow for toe-to-heel centring by rotating it 180 degrees, whilst still being able to micro-adjust tip-to-tail. The standard discs keep things centred & both are Multi-Compatible for use with 4-hole & 3-hole patterns. Power Hold Washers have ridges in them to ensure they are well & truly locked into place. If you are mounting to a channel system you will need to purchase an additional converter disc. Quick entry bindings are well established having been on the market for quite a few years. In the past they
