K2 Charger 2012 Skis With Salomon Z10 Binding
Please note: Skis come with Salomon Z10 White/Black binding shown in picture above, not the Marker bindings shown on skis. The A.M.P. Series cover the broadest range of snow conditions. Each ski is designed with the ‘perfect turn’ in mind, so the construction, shape and profile is specifically engineered to match the skier type and condition and results in more perfect turns with less effort every time you hit the slopes. The K2 Charger is made for expert-level skiers who charge the steepest firmest terrain. Its Speed Rocker gives you an added level of precision and accuracy as you transition from turn to turn, and the Hybritech Metal Laminate construction creates an

Specification: 122/74/106 Performance: Groomed 70%: Ungroomed 30% Radius: 16m at 174cm Construction: Metal Laminate – Hybritech Sidewall Core: Aspen/Paulownia Bindings: Salomon Z10 Binding White/Black Features Core: Aspen is a solid and dense wood and is known for its inherent strength and durability, while Paulownia is an eco-friendly, fast growing renewable wood that is incredibly strong and lightweight. Integrated Hub Technology: Titanal hubs are imbedded into the core of the ski for the most direct transmission of power. The system hubs are functionally wider with
a 50mm footprint, which decreases the distance between the binding and the edge of the ski for added performance. Mod Technology: high-Performance Suspension System Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected. The optimum location and thickness of mass differs from men to women. The men’s Mod structure is more X-Shaped, distributing mass to the perimeter for increased edge-hold. The thickest part of the Mod structure in the fore body includes a new technology window. Mod Monic: A Focused Mass Dampener; The Monic is a solid zinc mass that works in
conjunction with the Mod structure to focus mass-dampening at the targeted location. The men’s Mod Monic is slightly heavier and X-Shaped to further complement the Mod structure form. Metal Laminate: Built with two sheets of lightweight Tiitanal running the length of the ski, metal-laminate skies are the highest performing and most complex construction available from K2. Built from the base up, a metal laminate construction consists of alternating layers of fibreglass and Titanal above and below the wood core.
