As a softer wax,   Holmenkol Alpha Mix Yellow wax is also a good choice for leaving a coating of summer storage wax, or even to use as a hot scrape, base cleaning wax. It has a suggested operating temperature of +4°C to 0°C (Broadly European conditions). is optimised for softer snow, but works beyond these very well, & an iron setting of 115°C
- 125°C.
