Features: Autofit W Liners are female specific pre-moulded for a great out the box fit. They tend to be found on entry level boots where the support required from the boot is slightly less than on stiffer offering. Heat Mouldable liners can be heated, & then allowed to cool around your feet.  This causes them to match the exact shape of your feet for the perfect fit.  Think shrink to fit jeans. Moonwalker W Soles are an extremely grippy rubber sole featuring a framed footprint, with cutaway areas of rubber studs. The Women’s & Men’s Moonwalker soles feature a slightly different frame shape to adjust for different pressure points Women’s comfort system feature a slightly different shape & flex profile from unisex or mens boots.  They are slightly shorter in the cuff, with more of a flex profile around the back of the boot, allowing easier initiation of heelside turns. Thermo Insoles are made from a leightweight EVA foam that provides great support for your feet, & is also a great insulator, keeping your tootsies nice & warm. Heat Moulded EVA Padding is added to the liners to provide extra support & enhanced flex consistency. Heel Pads are L shaped foam pads that provide extra support around the ankle. Soft Top shells feature a soft material on the back of the boot at the top of the cuff.  This area of the boot is not required to be stiff for performance, & can often chafe or bruiser your calf muscles if too hard. 3D Tongues are designed into all Head snowboard boots. They closely follow the contour of your shins/feet & provide great support Metal Lace Hooks are still the most accurate & precise form of boot fastening.  Laces are easily replaceable, & differing support can be achieved at various areas of the boot. These boots are a big step for skiers all over the world to feel more secure & comfortable wearing & walking in skiboots.   This boot features the ASW (Auto Ski Walk) system which automatically switches between skiing & walking position when stepping in or out of the binding. Also it features FSW (Flex Walk Sole) which allows the sole of the boot to flex when stepping out of the binding.   Our Opinion The Edge I-Type has biggest volume of any of the boots that we sell, making it a great option for people with wider feet. This boot is very versatile on the mountain, with it’s high flex rating you can carve up the mountain all day or you can walk around the bars & shops in comfort.
