We are often asked to put together a starter kit for snowboard & ski tuning & waxing. You can pick up starter packs on ebay etc, but we have found many of these to be of poor quality or incorrect! The Color is a true twin, reverse camber, freestyle board. It has some premium features such as the carbon beam & rubber sidewalls inlays, without the premium price tag. These features not only improve the feel of the board but will also increase its life span, especially useful if you intend to throw it around the park. Features: Reverse Camber between the bindings & flat zones outside of them in order to take the pressure off the contact points. Boards with this profile feel looser, float incredibly well in powder & are fun to ride. The Twin shape is completely symmetrical for switch riding with ease, whether you plan to ride the whole mountain or in the park. A Carbon Beam runs the length of the board to add memory & pop without adding any additional weight. In order to prevent sidewall cracks, dampen vibrations & reduce fatigue, Rubber Inlays are built into the sidewalls. Having these inlays is particularly beneficial if you are going to be riding rails, but they are designed to prolong the life of your board even if you don’t. Made from 100% Canadian Poplar wood, the full Poplar Core is lightweight & extremely durable. With the same pattern as regular Biax but in a tighter weave, Biax 2 Fiberglass creates a significant increase in performance. The Extruded 1320 Base is easy to repair & requires very little maintenance. Multi layer Dampening makes the board more stable by reducing high-frequency vibrations that cause the board to chatter on hard snow. Found on every single Endeavour snowboard is a Negative Core Profile. Slightly profiled between your feet, this feature reduces weight & allows the board to flex more naturally & freely. The ABS sidewalls are stitched in place by what looks like fishing line. Stitched Sidewalls drastically increase the level of strength & durability. Marketed as an out-&-out freestyle board, due in-part to the reverse camber in the middle & flat zones before the nose & tail, which is ideal for buttering & pressing. The Color will also float really well in powder & with its mellow flex it is well suited to cruising the groomers on the lookout for cut-outs & natural jibs. With its carbon beam, rubber inlays & stitched sidewalls it’s a tough cookie. Is it for me? If you prefer to cruise, butter, press, tap & slash rather than charge mach-ten into big kickers then the Color will be ideal for your riding style.
