Torsion Control technology offers smooth, clean, turn entry & exit, while titanal sandwich construction & the R20 WC Racing plate adds increased power, balance & stability.  The CHROME 74 R20 features a traditional sandwich technology with wood core & two titanal layers that provide excellent stability in carving & greatly reduce torsional effects. The power is provided by two layers of fibreglass whose weight varies depending on the model & the desired skiability. The double melamine/phenol sidewalls ensure flexibility & power according to the skiers needs in the different phases of the turn. Part of the core, at the waist of the ski, is made from poplar to provide excellent grip, & part of the core is made from paulownia to lighten the ski tip & allow easier turn initiation. The ski come complete with Look NX series bindings.  Based on bindings used by the riders in the World Cup the bindings are mounted on an integrated Fluid system.  The new R20 race plate has new ski contact points for better adaptation to different ski thicknesses.
