This is the 135mm wide brake option. For freeride tourers who reach the summit & then top it off by skiing down the face have always instinctively turned to the Dynafit system. The beast requires specialist fitting with a specific (Expensive!) jig & modification to your ski boot heel. Edge & Wax has the Beast Fitting Jig in our workshop, & the knowledge to ensure that the binding is correctly fitted & the boot modified for perfect performance.   PRODUCT FEATURES & BENEFITS DIN 6-16 BINDING RANGE The Dynafit Beast binding features a DIN maximum of 16, the highest seen on a tech style binding, with a minimum of DIN 6 for maximum versatility. An overlength spring is used for maximum sensitivity whilst further enhancing durability of the spring mechanism. DIN adjustment is quick & easy with ready access for quick adjustment by those qualified to do so. BEAST SPECIFIC BOOT HEEL INSERT The amazing strength & durability of the Beast binding requires an enhanced rear heel plate.  The standard heel plate is removed & replaced with this extra-strong heel plate, with two additional anchor points created on the sides of the heel to allow perfect integration with the strengthened binding heel which features oversized & rotating locking pins. Edge & Wax offer a free installation service so that you can be assured that your boots only benefit from this small modification.   OVERSIZED REAR PIVOT POINTS WITH DYNAMIC SHAPED PINS The rear heel piece pins are MONSTERS! These have been oversized, & have a unique shaping profile to combine with the strengthened heel plate. This shaping & the high strength of the pins gives a solid retention whilst offering a smooth pivot function to ensure release only happens when it needs to, & that the heel piece feels rock solid inspiring confidence. All this with incredibly light weight! BEAST BINDING ROTATION TOE PIECE The strength & durability of this lightweight binding is only surpassed by its functionality, with a rotating toe piece to prevent unwanted releases however extreme the conditions are.
