The Key change for the Burner series this year is the introduction of Live Fit. It has been featured in past Atomic boots & received really well, so they have decided to roll it out across the range. A Live Fit zone is purposely placed on the lateral side of the boot to eliminate common “hot spots”, while the medial side remains solid for maximum power transfer & edge grip. The Burners party piece is its Enduro chassis, which raises the stand height of the boot by 5mm. which increases the leverage of the boot enabling the skier to easily ski some of the wider skis that are around today. It also has Skywalk rubber soles to give great hiking traction all over the mountain. The liner of the boot is Atomics ASY Pro T2. This boasts an asymmetrical shape for great anatomical fit & an Alcantara lining for comfort & warmth. It has a neoprene toe box for enhanced toe warmth & 4-way fit. The T2 liner is thermo formable in 2 sections which is the heel & fore foot which will give the liner a better all round fit.

Is this for me? This is for the advanced to expert women piste skiers who like to push their skiing & want a ski that offers the edge hold, liveliness & performance.  If you are an aggressive racer or looking for something slightly stiffer then you could look at the Cloud 11 that come with a full wood core, however if you want something that feels stiff & solid yet light underfoot for carving up the piste then the Cloud 9 ARC is the ideal choice

Is this for me? They have enhanced the Elysians performance by adding this Carbon stringer & this is now aimed at the intermediate skier who enjoys good fun skiing all over the mountain.  It works well for tour guides or the seasonaire who never quite knows what the next day will bring.
