Tracker’s legendary ease-of-use in a smaller package. The Tracker 3™ has Tracker 2’s renowned ease of use & instantaneous real-time display–and it’s 20 percent smaller & lighter. T3 is the thinnest multi-antenna transceiver available. Three antennas & no-nonsense multiple burial searching. One way the Tracker 3 multiple-burial system differs from other brands is that it doesn’t look at more than two signals at a time. When there are more than two signal present, all transceivers’ counting & marking features become exponentially worse. When Tracker 3 counts & suppresses signals, BCA want to tell you the truth & no more–misinformation can turn your search into a train wreck. The Tracker will show an icon that indicates whether you have two or more than two (2+) signals; it will not count further than that (you can do that yourself with Big Picture mode). Similarly, the Tracker 3 will only suppress one signal at a time, it will not keep more than one suppressed at a time (if you’re suppressing one signal, you’re in a world of hurt; if you’re suppressing more than one, you’re probably the first person ever to do so). There is an advanced manual that covers advanced multiple burial techniques using the BP feature & video too, if viewing this on our website click on the downloads tab above for the standard manual & advanced user manual. I spent a day getting to know this transceiver on the latest HATS (Henrys Avalanche Talks) training. Its an impressive bit of kit (So impressive I now own one!) with the range being the standout difference between the other transceivers on the course. I also found that when down to 20 metres or below, it was like a bloodhound giving a very clear & direct route to the buried transceivers. I recommend spending some time getting to know the SS (Signal Supression) & BP (Big Picture) modes, as I was being a man so of course had not fully read the instructions, which of course we recommend you do VERY CAREFULLY before head
