DataWax Get-a-Grip is an
easy to use, affordable
edging tool that is very
portable so you can
sharpen your edges in
just a few minutes. This
tool has the option of
either 88° or 90°
angles so that you can
tune your edges for
exactly what you need.
Comes boxed with
instructions and a 5 inch
file. How To Use 1)
Select the edge angle you
require. 2) Orientate the
Get-a-Grip with the
number matching your
selected angle nearest to
your ski or board. 3)
Hold the Get-a-Grip
firmly in your dominant
hand. 4) Place the guide
on the edge with the
plastic flush against the
base. 5) Ensure the file
is facing the edge so
that it cuts. 6) Pull the
guide towards you,
running in long smooth
strokes, keeping the
pressure even and the
plastic guide flat
against the base. 7)
Repeat until the edge is
sharp along the whole
length of the ski or
board.
