Product Description

Silverlit's superb Sopwith Camel has already proven an extremely popular classic with X-Twin fans. This replica model aeroplane captures the nostalgia of a bygone age of aviation with this brilliant prefabricated classic biplane. Now you can take to the skies in an old classic & re-live the thrill of a fighter pilot. The flying surfaces are made from lightweight laminated foam, with a single plastic propeller, spoked wheels & wing struts provided for added effect. Easy to fly outdoors in calm conditions, or indoors in a sports hall, whilst made from lightweight flexible foam to withstand the occasional heavy landing. Spec: Product dimensions: Wingspan 275mm (11"). Length 225mm (9”) Fully assembled & ready to fly. Product weight: 23g including rechargeable flight battery. Flight battery: 3.7v 2.0w 70m Ah 2.6g lithium polymer pack. Charger: Integral field charger/transmitter. Charging time: 20-30 minutes for full charge. Intelligent charger incorporates LED charging indicator & auto shut off facility when battery is charged. Flight duration: 10-15 minutes. Plane will maintain height on low throttle. Batteries required: 6 x 1.5v AA alkaline batteries for transmitter/charger (not included). R/C specification: Supplied completely assembled ready to fly, with pre-installed 2 channel digital radio control. Steer the model using rudder control by simply moving the transmitter stick left or right, with proportional throttle for climb or descent. Spare rudder & propeller. Fly indoors in a large hall, or outside in calm conditions. Lightweight laminated foam construction, with injection moulded wheels & struts. Range: Up to 100m (300ft). Frequency: 27 M Hz. Split frequencies allow up to three different Silverlit models to be flown together on Bands A, B & C. Age recommendation: 8+ Adult supervision advised for safe operation. Please Note: the Sopwith Camel is available on bands A, B or C to allow up to three different Silverlit R/C models to be flown together.
