This beautiful set of Christmas treenbspdecorations is entirely made by hand in a small family firm which has been doing this work for three generations The unit based in Kashmir is a valuable source of employment in an area which was once dependant on tourism The papier mache is made in the traditional ways using recycled newspaper which is soaked moulded dried & finally painted by hand in glowing lacquer colours The group involved in the production of papier mache products is also building a hospital in Sri Nagar An ideal eco xmas decoration
