The Cedar Roof Nest is made from sturdy natural cedar (FSC managed woodlands) for durability (without use of toxic stains). The nest will provide warm space for small birds to roost on cold days and in the evening. This can help preserve body fat and aid survival. The nest will also be used by small birds i.e. Wrens, Gold crests to nest, also possibly Robins with larger hole. The roof provides weather protection in more exposed sites and extends the life of the nest. The nest can be cleaned by using a garden glove and cleaning out the nest through the large hole. Full instructions are provided in the nest.
