This 160GB Apple Serial ATA Drive Module operates at 7200 rpm & is equipped with 16MB of disk cache. Serial ATA Apple Drive Modules are 24x 7 server-class rated & are ideal for applications needing capacity & great storage value with excellent performance. Using up to three drive modules, the Xserve can be configured from 160GB to 6TB of internal storage. Unpopulated bays ship with a blank drive carrier which can be replaced with a drive module at any time — even if the server is running — so it’s easy to add storage capacity as your server needs grow.
