This plan can be purchased & activated whilst your drive is still within the first year of the warranty already provided by WD & registered within the first 3 months. You don’t need to have bought your WD Hard Drive from Ebuyer to take out this care pack. If your not sure where you bought it from don't worry, as long as it is WD stock from the EU it is still eligible for this warranty extension. - Register your product by going to the WD Support Portal http://support.wdc.com/ & selecting register. You may need to sign up to the site if you have never done this before. 2
- On the registration page enter your serial number & it will tell you if your drive is still in warranty. 2
- Once your product is registered, you can activate a service plan for the product by clicking on the "service plan" icon for the product 3
- On the activation page, enter the activation code from the " Warranty Card" you have received, check the terms & conditions, then press the " Activate Service Plan" button 4 -Your code is activated & your product has been updated with the appropriate service plan Terms Must be purchased within the the first year of the warranty already provided by WD & activated within 30 days after purchase of the plan.
