Youre on the grid, engine running, helmet on, visor misting, harness pinning you against your seat. In front & alongside, their engines revving sit your opposition. The smell of fuel & fumes mixes with the sweat running down your neck & the mounting adrenaline levels. Have you got what it takes to win the cup? After a warm up & training, its straight to the trackside to put the pedal to the metal & let the back slide as you thunder round the corners in a real stock car event, competing against fellow participants. Programme During your day you will race F2 stockcars in a practice session, two heats & a stockcar championship final. You will also take part in a range of other events: the Professionals Challenge (in fully race prepared off-road Capri Bangers!); the Del Boy Challenge (in Reliant Robin Bangers!); the Push-me, Pull-you driving experience; & the Nag Drag Challenge. This is an ultimate supercar challenge where you will get to drive five different supercars. Totally awesome. The cars include the lightweight & insanely fast Ariel Atom, the track focused Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, the fastest ever Lamborghini the LP640, the new everyday supercar Audi R8 & finally the gorgeous Aston Martin DBS. This is the best selection of supercars Europe has to offer so dont be surprised if youve got a smile on your face from just thinking about driving them. This is definitely a memorable experience. Programme Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction & safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. You will then receive one demonstration lap with an instructor. Then its time to drive the cars. Youll get three to four driving laps in all five cars & then a high speed passenger ride in a performance saloon driven by one of the instructors. At the end you will be rewarded with an individual Driving Certificate. Extra driving laps & passenger rides can be purchased on the day. Please check on booking. Please note at some locations there is an option to purchase damage waiver insurance on the day of your experience. The ultimate track day gives you access to more supercars & extra driving time around the Prestwold Hall racetrack for a whole day! You will have your own personal Association of Racing Driving Schools (ARDS) instructor, shared with only one other driver, to ensure there is as much track time as possible. Over the day youll learn about new driving techniques such as speed control, ABS, handling, cornering techniques, skid control & the safest racing lines & best driving techniques. Turning you into safer & more capable driver who can fully exploit the power-demanding straights & high-speed corners of the new Prestwold Hall racetrack. The selection of cars available to you are only what you could imagine in a dream. The uncompromising yet ultra cool Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 the breathtaking Lamborghini Gallardo, the stunning Ferrari F430, the awesome rear-engined, rear-driven Porsche 997, Nissans beast from the east GTR & the practical supercar the Audi R8. With only eight drivers on the circuit, it is never crowded, giving everyone freedom to enjoy these cars awesome performance in total safety. So indulge yourself & live like a millionaire, if only for one day. Programme After your arrival you will be given an introduction & briefing on circuit driving techniques. These will be followed by some familiarisation laps with an instructor driving the performance training car. Then its time to get behind the wheel of some awesome cars. In the morning you will drive the Porsche 997, Ferrari F430, Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 & the Lamborghini Gallardo. After a couple of hours driving you will stop for a lunch break which is included for the driver & one spectator. The afternoon session will then start with a classroom session & a de-brief on the mornings activities. Then youll head off for the handling course on a purpose built rally stage in a Group N rally car. There will be a final driving session where you can put all the skills youve learnt over the day to the test in the Nissan GTR, Ferrari F430, Audi R8 & the Lamborghini Gallardo. Your day will end with a high speed passenger ride & then an individual driving certificate from your instructor & an award given to the Driver of the Day.
