Skid Control At Silverstone
Ever felt that initial adrenaline rush and then complete fear when sliding out of control? How about the overwhelming satisfaction of taking command of your vehicle and steering your way out of trouble? Well, this experience offers both and more! It unleashes the thrill of skidding and sliding, whilst instilling you with the knowledge and confidence to make you a better driver. Its one of the most enjoyable learning experiences youll ever have, at one of the worlds most renowned driving venues!ProgrammeAfter a welcome you will be given an introduction to the various types of skid situations by your instructor. You will learn how to anticipate skid conditions and more importantly, how to get out of them. After some demonstrations from your instructor, you and the other members of your
group, will take it in turns recovering from and avoiding skids. You will be driving a specially modified Renault Megane skid car, which can replicate different forms of skids by electronically shifting the weight distribution of the car. We are confident that you will leave Silverstone a better, safer driver. Whats more this is the only driving experience you can take at Silverstone if youve only just taken your driving test. Please note there is an option to purchase damage waiver insurance on the day of your experience. In the event of an accident the damage waiver will cover all or part of the damage caused to the vehicle(s) however this will not cover damage caused by reckless or negligent driving.
