If you have a need for speed then this experience will certainly fulfill your needs. Not only will you pilot a race prepared hydoplane, a monohull & a catamaran sports boat but also co-pilot a micro cat! This is the perfect opportunity to find out what powerboat racing is all about! Experiencing speeds you normally find on the road with your face only a few inches from the water in some of these boats, youll feel like your travelling supersonic. The agility of all these boats will astonish you & the incredible acceleration available makes this a truly unique experience. Programme Your experience will start with a welcome registration, followed by a safety & technique briefing & then lakeside tuition. Then it will be time for the main event. First youll pilot the Yamato OSY400 hydroplane. Known as the kart of inshore racing the OSY400 has a serious but fun element that will leave you totally exhilarated. Next you will be a co-pilot in a 50hp race prepared micro cat powerboat. These lightweight compact & incredibly agile semi rigid race boats are guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping. You will then break for lunch. Following this you will be given more lakeside tuition before its time to pilot both the Catamaran & the Monohull Sports Boats. These have a serious power to weight ratio & have an impressive top race speed of up to 90mph! At the end youll get off the boat with a huge smile wanting to do it all again. All light refreshments & a buffet style lunch is included. Duration This experience will last 8 hours. Group There will be up to 20 other people there on the day. You then get changed into the Saber Powersports racing team kit & safety gear. Then its onto the water. The boats have comfortable secure seating & the experience is suitable for all adventure seekers. You will start off learning to drive a Honda Race Boat. The Honda Formula 4-Stroke championship (HF4S) is the largest, most exciting offshore powerboat series in the world. Feel the speed & grace of this highly responsive racing machine. You will then have a lunch break back at base & get ready to take on the Suzuki Hypercat.
