The Swordfish 800XC Cross-Cut Shredder with 8-Sheet Capacity Our new light-duty paper shredder is fast! With a cutting speed of 2.2metres per minute, it will shred an 8-sheet pile of A4 documents in just 8 seconds. It also has a longer duty cycle than most shredders in its class, which means that it is capable of shredding over 470 sheets of paper in an hour. It may be fast, but that does not mean that security has been compromised. This shredder cuts documents into tiny particles measuring just 4mm x 45mm. That meets the requirements of the internationally recognised DIN Standard Security Level P-3, which is recommended for destroying documents that are classified as "sensitive & confidential". To put that in context, the Swordfish 800XC shreds a sheaf of eight A4 sheet of paper into almost 3000 small pieces. Reassembling that information would be hard enough, but when you consider that the waste bin supplied with the Swordfish 800XC is capable of holding 110 shredded sheets
