The Norfolk Broads are a spectacular collection of rivers, plants & wildlife at their best. This voucher entitles you to visit Hickling Broad, the largest expanse of open water in the Broadssystem. It is full of fantastic wildlife which
Includes:: rare swallowtail butterflies, bitterns, cranes, bearded tits & otters. Enjoy a boat trip that takes you across open water, through reeds to the base of the Tree Tower, from which there is an unsurpassed view of the Broads & Norfolk coast. The Tree Tower is a great vantage point for wildlife watching & there will be plenty of great photo opportunities throughout your day. Programme This voucher entitles entry for two adults to this internationally important nature reserve & its visitor centre. Participants will also enjoy a two hour boat trip going out on silent " Reed Cutter" boats, which are ideal for minimising disruption to the wildlife. As a souvenir youll be given a copy of the Nature Reserve handbook & a wildlife gardening leaflet pack. Please note, the water trail operates May to September & is dependent on the weather conditions. Duration You can spend as long as you wish at the reserve & the boat trip lasts for 2 hours. Group There will be a maximum of 12 people in your group. Spectators You are welcome to bring friends/family with you on the day, however they will need to pay an entrance fee. Please check on booking. Fitness You need to be reasonably fit to get the most out of seeing the reserve. The boat trip is not suitable for wheelchair users. Experience There are no qualifications required. Minimum Age The minimum age is 18 years old. Availability This experience is available Monday to Sunday, from May to September.
