Multi Purpose Raiser Spreader Bar
This pack of6 Spreader Bars are for use with the Langham Multi Purpose Raiser system, aversatile solution for raising all kinds of furniture, a full description of which can be found below. Theextra spreader barsprovide extended width adjustment for the main units, which forms the basis of the system and comprises two sturdy sockets that will support anything from chair legs to two corners of a bed.Unique in design and versatility, the Langham Multi Purpose Raiser system has been carefully developed using feedback received from Occupational Therapists. The raisers have been designed to raise chairs, settees and beds equally well andare discreet when used under furniture whilst providing maximum secure and stable support for the furniture and reassurance and confidence for the user.
Each of the furniture supports pivots ona link bar to ensure a snug fit with the furniture, either at a corner or, on larger furniture, as a central support. Each of the Langham Multi Purpose Raisers provides an initial raise of 80mm (3.25") and this can be increased by adding the easy to use clip on adjusters, each of which gives an additional rise of 20mm (0.75") up to a maximum suggested safe height of 150mm (6"). With its maximum load capacity of 500 kgs (78 st) and its total flexibillity, the Langham Multi Purpose Raiser system will deal with all but the very heaviest pieces of furniture. seperately in packs of 2.For example, to raise a large chair 115mm (4.5") you would need 2 packsLangham Multi PurposeRaiser Unit Packs (2 supports in a pack), 8 individual Clip On Adjusters, two on each support (Supplied as 12 in a pack so you would need 1 Pack), and 1 Spreader Link Bar (Supplied as 6 in a pack so you would need 1 Pack).
