Mosaic is the art of creating images with an assemblage of small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials. The Italians are synonomous with mosaics having created some of the most beautiful materpieces in the world & this experience lets you create your own piece of art. There is a range of beautiful Italian glass tiles & embellishments for you to use to create your very own colourful mosaic patterns or wonderful mirrors or wall tiles! Let your imagination go wild! On arrival you will choose what type & size of mosaic you wish to make. You will each get to make two pieces each & you can choose from coasters, tiles, pictures & framed mirrors or if you wish you can bring your own item, for example a coffee table (please check on booking if suitable). Everything you will need to create your piece will be provided including a lot of encouragement! To help you, you will be taught all about cutting, sticking & grouting so your finished piece can look like an experts best work.
