Get behind the wheel and strap yourself in for the ride of your life. The Mitsubishi Evo is a rally legend. It powered Tommi Mäkinen to the World Rally Championship in 96, 97, 98, and 99 and on the road it has received nothing but praise from top motoring journalists. When you put your foot down the scenery rushes past and the acceleration from the 2.0 litre turbocharged engine seems endless. Equally impressive is the braking; squeeze the pedal firmly but not too hard and the car slows at an incredible rate. It really is something else. The day will start with a briefing in the car followed by a session driving a Mitsubishi Evo 8. The session will end with a de-brief in which you get a driver analysis form completed by your instructor and a certificate. The person driving the car
will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking. The minimum age for this experience is 18 years old. Maximum height 1.98m (6ft 5in). Maximum weight 117.5kg (1812; stone). This activity may not suitable for those who suffer from epilepsy or any physical disability.
