Mikuma Japanese Light Cruiser - 1:350 Ships - Tamiya
1/350 scale plastic assembly kit of the Japanese Light Cruiser Mikuma. Length: 573mm, Width: 76mm. The well-balanced light cruiser form of the Mikuma with 5 triple 15.5cm gun turrets has been accurately remodeled. The ship. s hull separates into port and starboard parts and the one-piece lower hull helps to produce the form of the beautiful bow. Large sized parts depicting the ship. s hull and deck are secured with screws, allowing you to accurately build the model. The superstructures before they were refitted with anti-aircraft armament as well as the masts and crane have been realistically reproduced. Bridge windows and searchlight lenses are reproduced with clear plastic parts. Turrets, torpedo launchers, high-angle guns, and catapult are moveable after completion of the model.
You can choose either to have the main guns in a stowed or deployed position. Polycaps enable switching of gun turrets even after completion of the model. Strong ABS resin parts depict fore and aft masts. Anti-aircraft guns have rich details. Metal parts depict anchor chains and propeller shafts. Nakajima E8N and Kawanishi E7K floatplanes can be set on the deck. Display stands for depicting aircraft in flight are included. Full hull model display stand included. All models are supplied un-assembled and unpainted, in their retail box.
