No need to stick things on your fridge when you can simply stick them on the wall. This magnetic paint may only come in one colour but once you have applied it to your chosen wall you simply paint back over it with the colour of your choice. This has so many uses. Use it in the office to stick reminders / invoices etc to the wall. Use it in your home as a notice board for all those reminders & shopping lists. Or you can use it in the kids bedroom so they can use it as a play wall with a selection of magnets. The magnetic paint is a 100% latex magnetic receptive coating & lead free, so it is child safe. Everything you need to know: Liquid Magic Wall Magnetic Paint, everything you need to know! What is it? Liquid Magic Wall Magnetic Paint is a water-based emulsion paint which contains very fine iron powder. What colour is it? The paint is dark grey in colour, due to the iron powder. Does it come in any other colours? No, it only comes in grey due to the iron powder. This also gives the paint a slightly rough finish once applied. However you can paint over it with any emulsion colour of your choice. This creates a smoother finish & means that you can blend the magnetic surface into your existing d ©cor. Can I tint the paint? Adding another colour to the paint would dilute its magnetic receptivity & it would not work. How should it be applied? With a regular roller or brush. We recommend a minimum of two coats & multiple coats will increase the magnetic receptivity. Can I apply a primer first? If you feel it is necessary to use a primer then our paint will apply easily over it. What sizes are available & how much does it cover? Our 0.473 litre tin covers Approx. 1.2 sq. metres with two coats. The 0.946 litre tin covers Approx. 2.3 sq. metres with two coats. The 3.8 litre tin covers Approx. 9.4 sq. metres with two coats. How does it work? The iron powder in the paint creates a surface to which you can apply magnets, allowing you to turn virtually any wall in your home, school or office into an instant magnetic display area. However this is an iron powder & is not as magnetically receptive as a plain steel surface. Does it work with all kinds of magnets? No, magnets that are too weak or too heavy will not stick. Lightweight or large surface area magnets are ideal for this surface. So it is great for displaying your magnet letters, fridge magnets or magnetic games but not suited to holding stacks of notes or memos. Is Magnetic Paint safe to use in my home? Yes, magnetic paint is non-toxic & water-based. It does not contain lead & conforms to environmental VOC regulations ASTM D4236. Will Magnetic Paint interfere with my computer? No, the paint itself is not a magnet. It has metallic, i.e. magnetic, properties that create a surface to which you can apply magnets. It is safe to use in your home, school or office & will not affect your computer, TV, video or any other magnet-sensitive equipment
