The LINDY Fire Wire Extension Cable means that you can extend the cable length of your Fire Wire devices by an extra 4.5 m. ideal to be used with DV Camcorders printers scanners cameras etc. To use simply plug one end of the Extension Cable into a Fire Wire port on your computer & then plug the cable from your device into the other end. For longer distances you can connect up to 10 Extension Cables together for a maximum length of 49.5m! Fire Wire Repeater Cable for extending the cable length between Fire Wire devices over distances greater than the IEEE 1394 specified limit of 4.5 m. Up to 10 extension cables can be connected for a maximum distances of 49.5 m.
