Lenovo Think System DE4000F is a scalable, all flash entry-level storage system that is designed to provide performance, simplicity, capacity, security, and high availability for medium to large businesses. It delivers enterprise-class storage management capabilities with a wide choice of host connectivity options, flexible drive configurations, and enhanced data management features. The Think System DE4000F is a perfect fit for a wide range of enterprise workloads, including big data & analytics, video surveillance, technical computing, and other storage I/O-intensive applications. SAS connectivity The following table lists currently available SAS adapters for Lenovo servers that are compatible with the Think System DE4000F SAS storage (direct attach). Other SAS HBAs also might be supported (see the Interoperability Matrix for details). i SCSI connectivity The Think System DE4000F supports i SCSI attachments. Any compatible Ethernet switch, including Lenovo Think System & Rack Switch Ethernet switches & embedded Flex System Ethernet I/O modules, can be used to provide i SCSI connectivity for the Think System DE4000F storage. Fiber Channel connectivity The Think System DE4000F supports direct FC attachments & FC switch-based attachments. Lenovo B Series & DB Series FC SAN switches & directors can be used to provide FC connectivity. Currently available FC adapters for Lenovo servers that are compatible with the Think System DE4000F FC storage are listed in the following table. Other FC HBAs also might be supported.
