The camera features built in IR (Infra Red) LEDs, these allow the camera to see in low light or complete darkness up to 15 metres. The camera shows Colour images in good lighting conditions & then switches to B/W images in low light or complete darkness, when in this mode the camera can see the light produced by the IR LEDs & provide good quality images as if it was daylight, however to the human eye the light emitted from the IR LEDs remains invisible!
