If youre looking to get that adrenaline rush then look no further. Race prepared micro cats & hydroplanes are two of the most exciting crafts that can be found on the water. Micro cats are lightweight, compact & incredibly agile semi rigid race boats & are insanely good fun. Theyre capable of hitting a top race speed of 50mph whilst achieving a turning force of nearly 3 Gs! Hydroplanes are known as the kart of inshore powerboat racing. This class of hydroplane youll be piloting has a huge national & international following & really is the grass roots of this amazing sport. This adrenaline fuelled hands on experience will have you lying face down just inches from the water & with a constantly changing track its guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Programme Upon arrival you will be met by your qualified instructor, who will give you a full safety briefing before leading you out to your stunning vessel. Your experience will start with piloting a race-ready Hydroplane Yamato OSY400, followed by a session co-piloting a race prepared micro cat. At the end youll get off the boat with a huge smile wanting to do it all again. All light refreshments & a buffet style lunch is included. Duration This experience will last 5 hours. Group There will be up to 20 other people there on the day. Spectators Youre welcome to bring spectators to watch. Fitness The maximum height is 6ft 2" & the maximum weight is 16 stone. This experience is not suitable for those with serious back problems, heart complaints or pregnant women. All guests will be asked to sign a health & safety/indemnity form. Experience There are no qualifications required. Minimum Age The minimum age is 16 years. Under 18s need parental consent.
