Whilst some people find cooking enjoyable & therapeutic, there are also those who lack the confidence to throw themselves into preparing a meal without plenty of preparation. This half day cookery lesson is not only a great chance to learn more about the essential skills needed to prepare great food, but also to learn everything you could hope to know so that you feel at ease when it comes to tackling a new recipe. A lesson with a professional chef is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions that you might have about the secrets of preparing fool-proof dishes, how to ensure that you arent too heavy handed with your seasoning & hints & tips on making fantastic food to impress your family & friends. Programme After a warm welcome on arrival you will meet your expert cookery teacher who will talk you through the days programme & what you will be cooking during your lesson. Then it will be your turn to get your apron on & get cooking. At the end you will either be able to sit down & sample what you have made over a relaxed meal with the other attendees or take it away to enjoy later. Depending on the location, your class will take place in a purpose built cookery school, a professionals home or even the more intimate surroundings of your own home. The exact format varies depending on the cookery school & class chosen. Themes will vary throughout the year at each school. To give you a flavour of whats available, they may include bread making, baking cakes, Mediterranean, vegetarian dishes or curries & side dishes. Please check themes & dates on booking.
