Now its your chance to step into their shoes & experience the amazing power, traction & control that these awesome machines have to offer. This introductory half day course is for those who want to experience the ultimate in power traction & braking in a turbo-charged WRX Subaru. Programme Your course starts with a safety briefing & your instructor for the day will teach you how to master handbrake turns, & how to cause & control power slides. Your course finishes with a white knuckle passenger ride with your instructor, showing you how to take these vehicles to their limits! Then into a debriefing during which you will receive a certificate of achievement & possibly a driver of the day trophy! Programmes vary depending on the location. Please note at some locations there is an option to purchase damage waiver insurance on the day of your experience. In the event of an accident the damage waiver will cover all or part of the damage caused to the vehicle (s) however this will not cover damage caused by reckless or negligent driving. Further details are available on booking. Duration Your half day will last for about 3 to 4 hours. Group Therell be a maximum of four other people in your group. Spectators Youre welcome to bring family & friends along to watch you but some sites have a restriction on the amount. Due to the nature of this activity facilities are normally basic. Fitness The minimum height is 1.57m (5ft 2") & the maximum height is 1.93m (6ft 4). The maximum weight is 102kg (16 stone). This activity is not suitable for those with heart problems. This is a great rally experience where you can spend half a day behind the wheel of some rallying legends. At first youll be tackling the Subaru WRX & Mitsubishi Evo getting experience of these cars on a tarmac stage before being let loose on a gravel stage where youll get to drive both the Focus RS & VW Polo Group N Rally cars on the dirt. Youll find that most of the time you will be looking out of the side windows to see where youre headed. This is a great experience to introduce you to the world of rallying. Programme Your experience will begin with a welcome & introduction on circuit driving techniques. Then it will be your turn to drive. You will drive a Subaru Impreza WRX & Mitsubishi Evo on a tarmac stage & will typically drive a Focus RS & VW Polo on a gravel stage. At the end you will be rewarded with an individual Driving Certificate. Duration Your experience will last for Approx. 3 hours. Group There will be other people there on the day. Spectators Youre welcome to bring spectators to come & watch. Fitness Maximum height 1.98m (6ft 6) & minimum height 1.52m (5ft 0"). Max weight 108kg (17 stone). In the cool of the evening you will ride the range, meandering through the stunning scenery of grasslands & heaths where the ponies roam free, & on into the woods, home to fox, badger & the many herds of wild deer.
