If you have a passion for Asian food, but dont know your cardamom from your cumin or your galangal from your garam masala, then this cookery course is ideal for you. You can try one of three different styles of Asian food; Thai, Indian or Sushi. The classes are designed to give people the confidence to work with the different herbs & spices usually associated with Asian cuisine & extend their range & knowledge of making everyday Asian food, with an emphasis on healthy eating & food awareness. Classes are kept small, giving you the opportunity to have hands on experience in a relaxed & fun atmosphere with lots of tips on general cooking & one to one time with the chef. The experience begins with a comprehensive spice trail which looks at the various herbs & spices used in cooking & their medicinal values & properties to be able to understand why certain food groups work with others. You will then roll up your sleeves & try your hand at preparing starters & canapes & making a number of main dishes throughout the class. This course is perfect for all ages & abilities. This class will consist of just 10 people with your chef therefore, he will work personally with you & can explain every tip & technique. Programme After a warm welcome on arrival, you will get to meet your expert cookery teacher who will talk you through the days programme & what you will be cooking during your lesson. Then it will be your turn to get your apron on & get cooking, while cooking the chef will be available to answer any questions or to generally speak about the ingrediants that you use. Driving a hovercraft is like nothing else, the closest description would be driving a car with four flat tyres on ice! Youll be turning the wheel & the hovercraft doesnt seem to start turning until a couple of seconds later! So planning & positioning your hovercraft is vital if youre to make it around the course. Do you have the balance, judgement & forward thinking to handle one like a pro? After a safety briefing to familiarise you with the craft, you will be shown the controls & driving techniques needed. You then get the chance, under the supervision of an instructor, to get behind the wheel. You may even, show your newly found skills off by completing an obstacle course. The activity can take place on grass, mud, sand or water. You will then move to the BP challenge, which involves a series of obstacles & gates to manoeuvre the craft around. Please note the programme of events varies by each location. The minimum age for this experience is 12 years old. You will need to have general fitness & be able bodied to take part in this experience. Participants must disclose any medical condition that may prevent them from safely undertaking the experience. Llamas are unique animals, theyre easy to train, they can be very sociable & they are protective of themselves & their herd. On this experience you will get to learn their fascinating history, how to handle them & their behaviour towards humans & other llamas. The main part of the experience is a trek with the llamas across beautiful countryside. Llamas walk at a gentle pace of around two miles an hour so this is a wonderfully relaxed journey. If you love your animals, the llama is definitely one you should meet. Programme Your experience begins with an introduction to llamas followed by instruction on handling the llamas. You will then commence your trek where you walk & lead your llama through the local countryside. After the trek you may have some time back at the farm to meet the other llamas but the exact format varies depending on the location. Please check on booking.
