Guided Peak District Walk For Two
This is the perfect experience for those who have a love of the great outdoors or fancy a break from hectic city life. Soak up the beautiful scenery and panoramic views in this guided walk through the Peak District. Some example routes are through Stanage Edge and the Great Ridge, providing some of the most interesting and dramatic scenery in the National Park. Along the way your friendly and professional tour guide is sure to teach you a thing or two about the local histories behind the route you have taken. This experience will leave you wanting to return to the Peak District to discover everything else it has to offer within its numerous routes through the striking hills and mountains.ProgrammeAfter a welcome and introduction, your guide will brief you on the route you will be taking.
Once you have set off, your tour guide will then provide information on the folklore, geology and wildlife you may encounter along the way. The length of the route will typically be between four and five and a half miles. During the walk you will usually stop half way for a rest, a great opportunity to take some photos of the surrounding landscapes before you set off on the last leg of your walk. There are types of walk for all levels - from gentle strolls to an energetic and challenging trek. Please note the routes and starting points will vary depending on the level of walk you prefer and the season.
