Product Description This product requires the MiHome Gateway to work. Control your existing light fittings and bulbs using your smartphone, tablet or PC. MiHome light switches are a retro fit solution to adding a sense of security, creating moods and automating your home. Designed to work as a replacement of your existing live in/out switch, no neutral wire is required. You should consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure as to whether this product will work with your wiring before purchase if you are in any doubt. Installation in to a 25mm back box or deeper is required. Once installed simply pair your switch with the gateway in either the App or via the web portal. Set timers, groups and name your lights for simple control. Use your location via Geo-fencing to turn your
lights on automatically to welcome you home. Connect to IFTTT to control your lights from web services, such as flashing your lights when your phone rings on silent, or add dusk till dawn control of your existing outside lights. You only need one gateway and you can add additional MiHome accessories as and when you wish to create your own Smart Home solution. A complete range of products offers the ability to build a modular system that suits your needs. IMPORTANT: This light switch receives commands only and does not report its live status back to the App or web portal. **Energenie recommends that dimmable light sources are used with all MiHome light switches, such as Dimmable LED. power to lighting and appliances up to 250W. Only the Line is switched to the load. Switching is initiated either by radio control or manually by pressing the button on the housing. It is compatible with Mi Home Remote Control (MIHO003) and the Mi Home network. It is a receive-only device operating in the 433MHz ISM short-range band using OOK modulation.
