Karting is considered to be the perfect starting point for all those wishing to get into racing & surprisingly, in a quick kart, it is one of the closest things to racing a Formula 1 car! So this experience is not for the faint hearted. How many laps will you be able to rack up within the hours time limit? On arriving at the centre you will sign on & get suited up in a helmet & racing overalls before your safety briefing & some instructions on the kart controls. Now its time to get in your kart for the practice/qualifying session, then the competitive action begins with an hour of non-stop racing. With up to 35 karts on the track who will last the pace & make it to the podium? The experience ends with a presentation of trophies to the fastest drivers. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking. The minimum age for this experience is 16 years old. This is quite a physical activity & may not be suitable if you have weak arms, heart complaints etc. The minimum height is 1.34m (5ft), the maximum is 1.98m (6ft 6in). The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone). There are no qualifications required. Kent
