Aston Martin: The modern day Aston Martin still lives up to the benchmark of quality & luxury set nearly a hundred years ago, & in focusing on maintaining these standards they have produced some of the most impressive cars available today. The V8 Vantage & the DB9 are both prime examples of their commitment to the three important elements of an Aston Martin: power, beauty & soul. Audi R8: With a 4.2 litre V8 engine, & a top speed of 187mph, the Audi R8 was built to take your breath away! Audis leading designers have pushed the boundaries of racing technology, futuristic construction & luxury refinement to deliver a genuine masterpiece. From behind the wheel, you can appreciate just why this car has become a firm favourite of petrol heads who believe it is a classic in the making. Programme Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction & safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. Depending on location you will then typically receive two demonstration laps with an instructor followed by four driving laps. To finish, you may be rewarded with an individual Driving Certificate depending on the location chosen. Extra driving laps & passenger rides can be purchased on the day. Please note: All cars are available at all locations apart from the Lamborghini which is not available at Silverstone, Donnington, Kirkby Mallory, Rockingham, Three Sisters, Brands Hatch & Oulton Park. At some locations there is an option to purchase damage waiver insurance on the day of your experience. In the event of an accident the damage waiver will cover all or part of the damage caused to the vehicle (s) however this will not cover damage caused by reckless or negligent driving. Further details are available on booking. Duration You will spend Approx. 1 hour at the venue depending on location. Group The cars are shared between the drivers on the day. Spectators Spectators are allowed but children must be supervised at all times. Fitness Maximum height 1.95m (6ft 4) & minimum height 1.52m (5ft 0"). Max weight 108kg (16 stone). You may be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day, as you will not be covered for damage caused as a result of reckless and/or negligent driving. Experience A full UK or European manual driving licence with no serious offences must have been held for 1 years, with the exception of Silverstone where you must of held your license for 3 years. You must be able to drive a manual transmission. Minimum Age The minimum age is 18 years old (with the exception of Silverstone, Northamptonshire, min age is 21) Availability This activity is available on selected weekdays, typically March to November, however some locations run throughout the year.
