A vast array of security & management features helps the AP-910c improve & protect flexibility & integrity of your wireless LAN. The Vigor AP-910c is ideal for adding wireless connectivity to an existing LAN, or for expanding the range of an existing wireless LAN by using the WDS repeater features. The ceiling format of the unit means that it can provide unobstructed coverage to the area around it & aesthetically blends into any home or office environment thanks to its shape, size & hidden cable entry. The AP-910c can also be wall mounted. For ceiling mounting, a circular mounting plate (included with the unit) is fitted & then the AP-910c is attached. The AP-910c can be used together with our other access points (AP-710, AP-810 & AP-910c). For suspended ceilings, additional mounts are included to attatch the the ceiling T-Bars Simultaneous Dual-Band Operation & Extended 5 Ghz Bands The Vigor AP-910c supports simultaneous operation of the common 2.4 Ghz band & the new 5 Ghz b&. The 5 Ghz band is far less congested so if your PCs or other devices support the 5 Ghz b&, you can use that. The Vigor AP-910c operates both bands at the same time, so your devices can use either band & each has its own bandwidth so overall wireless capacity is also increased. The 5 Ghz supports the full range of extended domestic 5 Ghz channels, due to its support for DFS/TPC. You can select all 5 Ghz channels up to channel 140, as opposed to just the 4 Band A-Lower channels (which provides only two non-overlapping channels @ 80 Mhz channel width). Mounting & Coverage The AP-910c is designed to be installed on ceilings in order to serve the area below it. The cables (Ethernet or Power) can reach the AP-910c from the rear or the side. For solid ceiling fixing a backplate is supplied. The backplate fixes to the ceiling & the AP-910c then clips in. Alternatively, T-Bar mounts enable quick & easy attachments to suspended ceilings (see photo below). The AP-910c can also be wall-mounted

Mesh Wireless Mesh Wireless links Vigor AP access points across both Wi-Fi & Wired links to cover a large area with a single Wireless network, spanning multiple Wireless Access Points & easily managed from the Mesh Root Vigor AP or with the Dray Tek Wireless app. The Mesh Root Vigor AP links up to your existing Internet router, such as the Dray Tek Vigor 2862ac & additional Vigor A Ps join up as Mesh Nodes, which connect wirelessly to the Mesh Root. Your devices see a single Wi-Fi network (SSID) & connect to the nearest Vigor AP in the Mesh, instead of a distant Wi-Fi network with low signal. Internet connectivity relays through the Mesh, using the up to 866 Mbps 5 G Hz wireless as the backhaul link, to relay between Mesh Nodes & avoid long waits for downloads. One of the Vigor AP 1000C's 5 G Hz 802.11ac radios can be dedicated as a Mesh backhaul. Providing higher performance & capacity for Mesh networks spanning multiple hops & managing more clients. Easy Setup with the Dray Tek Wireless App Dray Tek's Wireless app assists you with setting up Vigor AP 1000C access points & a Mesh Wireless network. Once installed on your Smartphone or Tablet, use the Quick Start Wizard to set your Vigor A Ps to operate as a Mesh Wireless network. Set up a single Vigor AP 1000C as a st&-alone Access Point, or extend an existing wireless network as a Range Extender. Simply scan the access point’s QR code to detect it, or manually input the Vigor A Ps default SSID & password, then configure your wireless network with step-by-step guidance. When it’s all set up, view the Mesh Wireless status & connected wireless clients from the app. 2 Gigabit Ports with Power-Over-Ethernet The Vigor AP 1000C has built-in Po E+ (Standard IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet) as standard. Connect the Vigor AP to a Po E+ Ethernet switch or Po E+ injector to power it without local power to the unit (power supply)
- the Vigor AP 1000C will take its power from the Ethernet cable. The Vigor AP 1000C supports Gigabit Po E (if you have a Gigabit Po E switch/injector) such as our Vigor Switch P1280 or P1092 models (or any other 802.3at device). Po E is ideal for situations where you do not have mains power available in the exact location where you want to install the Vigor AP 1000C or just for general aesthetic neatness, perhaps where the AP is installed somewhere prominent. The second Gigabit LAN port can be used to connect an additional device such as a camera or network switch to the Vigor AP. When the Vigor AP is operating in Mesh mode, the LAN ports are bridged to the wireless network, to connect additional devices into the Mesh network. The Dray Tek Vigor AP 1000C can alternatively be powered by an AC/DC mains PSU, for installations where you are not using Po E. Ceiling Mounting For ceiling mounting, a mounting plate (included with the unit) is fitted & then the Vigor AP 1000C is secured into place by sliding the Vigor AP into the mounting plate. Once installed, the AP is held securely in place. The AP-1000C is designed to be installed on ceilings in order to serve the area below it. The cables (Ethernet or Power) can reach the AP-1000C from the rear or the side. For solid ceiling fixing a backplate is supplied. The backplate affixes to the ceiling & the AP-1000C then clips in. Tri-Band 11ac Wave 2 Access Point The Vigor AP 1000C is an 802.11ac Wave 2 access point, improving performance by increasing the amount of data that can be sent at one time. 11ac Wave 2 uses MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple In, Multiple Out) technology to boost performance & capacity, building upon the Single-User (SU-MIMO) technologies introduced with 802.11n. The Vigor AP's MU-MIMO technology when used with MU-MIMO capable wireless clients, allows each antenna (or Spatial Stream) to send to separate wireless clients at the same time, potentially doubling the data transmission rate to clients. A typical wireless access point can send data to only one client at a time with its radio. With enough users connected, congestion slows down transfer speeds more & more, as the AP is shared between more clients. This can be particularly useful in locations with many phones, tablet & laptops connecting, where the Vigor AP's more efficient transmissions could allow each access point to serve more clients than an 802.11ac Wave 1 or 802.11n access point. Wireless Optimisation Dray Tek's Vigor AP access points have many features designed to improve wireless performance on your network, to ensure that every wireless client gets the best possible experience. Wireless Security & VLANs The Vigor AP 1000C features multiple levels of wireless security. Encryption using WPA2 / WPA3 is available & you can also use the access control list (ACL) to specify the hardware addresses of clients which are permitted to connect (by MAC hardware address). Any unauthorised hardware is refused access. For additional user authentication, you can have the Vigor AP 1000C authenticate clients with an 802.1x RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-in User Service) server, or use its internal RADIUS server. The Vigor AP 1000C supports the 802.1q VLAN protocol so that if it is connected to an 802.1q enabled LAN, it can split tagged data (whether it's different subnets or intended for different users) & broadcast each on its own SSID. This means, for example, that your guest Wi Fi access is provided on a separate isolated SSID with no access to your company data. Multi-SSID Over Mesh Dray Tek's Mesh system supports 802.1q VLAN tagging for its multiple Wireless networks (or SSIDs), over both wireless & wired Mesh links between Vigor A Ps. Each SSID provided by the Mesh network can have a VLAN tag assigned to it. VLAN tags are interpreted by the network's router & switch (es) to segregate one network from another. For instance keeping devices connecting to a guest network separate from resources on the private, internal network. Setting up a Mesh network to work with VLANs only requires setting up the Mesh Root with the VLAN tags on its SSIDs. This change propagates to Mesh Nodes when syncing the configuration between access points & Multi-SSID over Mesh can be used just like a cabled network of access points. AP & Repeater Modes The Vigor AP 1000C can be used as a st&-alone Wireless Access Point, to provide wireless connectivity for a router or network that doesn't currently have wireless. Access Point mode can create up to 4 separate Wireless networks (or SSIDs). The Vigor AP 1000C can provide completely separate private & guest wireless networks through the use of 802.1q VLAN tags with a router or network that supports VLAN tagging, such as the Dray Tek Vigor 2862 router. Range Extender (or Universal Repeater) mode allows the Vigor AP 1000C to extend the wireless coverage of any existing wireless network. In this mode, the Vigor AP 1000C connects to a remote wireless network, allowing it to provide Internet & Network access to wireless clients that connect to the Vigor AP 1000C's wireless network. Mesh
- Auto-Optimisation A Dray Tek Mesh Wireless network can easily add new Mesh Nodes & self-organises links between up to 8 Dray Tek Vigor AP access points, to ensure the best possible speeds. If a Mesh Node's wireless uplink drops out, for instance if there's interference or the Vigor AP it connects to is turned off, each Mesh Vigor AP automatically re-connects to the next available point to resumes service without any manual intervention required. Mesh Nodes further away will connect wirelessly to the nearest Mesh Node, with up to 3 wireless hops. Alternatively, where a network connection is available for a Vigor AP, join a Mesh Node to the network through ethernet & nearby wireless Mesh Nodes can join it instead of the Mesh Root to reduce wireless hops & increase possible Mesh throughput. Central Management with Dray Tek Vigor ACS The Dray Tek Vigor AP 1000C can be managed by the Dray Tek Vigor ACS central management system
- a cloud platform which can manage most Dray Tek products
- routers, wireless access points & Ethernet switches, giving you complete visibility & control of your Dray Tek product estate, even without a Dray Tek Vigor router on site. The Dray Tek Vigor ACS management system can be used to configure & provision Dray Tek Vigor AP access points, similarly to performing these actions through the Vigor AP's web interface, with a familiar menu layout in the Configuration section of Vigor ACS. Profiles for groups of access points can be provisioned in Vigor ACS by selecting a Vigor ACS network, then accessing Configuration > AP Profile to configure profiles & apply them selectively. Dray Tek's Vigor ACS management monitors each Vigor AP access point, with a Dashboard view giving a central overview of the most important information from the Vigor AP's current status. Central Management with a Dray Tek Router The Vigor AP 1000C can operate in standalone autonomous mode, but can also form part of a centrally managed wireless installation by adding a compatible Dray Tek wireless controller such as the Vigor 2862 router. This enables you to centrally control, manage & administer multiple AP devices installed around your building/campus. Management also enables efficient usage of your wireless access point through load-balancing, whereby wireless clients are distributed across several access points to reduce congestion. The Dray Tek router operating as the wireless controller can provision Dray Tek Vigor AP access points using the Central AP Management profiles configured on the router, with an option to Auto Provision
- auto configuring newly installed Vigor AP access points with the Auto Provisioning profile, upon initial connection to the Dray Tek Vigor router's network.

Teleworkers can connect with a secure SSL VPN tunnel to the Dray Tek Vigor 2765, using the free Dray Tek Smart VPN Client app. Available for Windows, mac OS, Apple i OS (iPad, iPhone) & Android devices. Connect VPNs from behind NAT with Dray Tek's VPN Matcher A typical requirement for connecting a VPN tunnel between two points is that the VPN server must be directly accessible on the public Internet. Sometimes this can be achieved with NAT Port Forwarding if the router is located behind another router, but if the router is connected to 4G Mobile Broadband or is behind Carrier-Grade NAT (CG-NAT), connecting to that VPN server may be impossible. Dray Tek's new VPN Matcher service helps Dray Tek routers behind NAT to allow Dial-In Teleworkers to connect, or connect two Dray Tek VPN routers that are behind NAT & could not normally establish a VPN tunnel. AC1300 Wireless LAN with Mesh The 2765 series 'ac' models provide 802.11ac simultaneous Dual-Band wireless for fast & efficient wireless connectivity. Multi-User MIMO allows the router to send to more than one device at a time, with each of its Antennas streaming data to different devices at once, improving efficiency over standard 802.11ac wireless & allowing the router to effectively serve more wireless clients. With firmware 4.3.0, the Vigor 2765 'ac' wireless routers can be used as part of Dray Tek's Mesh wireless system, allowing the router to work as the Mesh Root, providing Internet access & management of Mesh Vigor A Ps directly. 4 Gigabit LAN Ports with VLANs The Vigor 2765 series provides 4 Gigabit LAN ports for wired links to Computers, Servers & Network Attached Storage. 2 LAN subnets & VLANs allow the Vigor 2765 to provide a guest network fully separate from internal network data. Or any other configuration that can use 2 subnets, whether that's 2 wireless networks with different IP ranges, or a separate LAN subnet for printers & server. Each network can have its own Content Filtering, Firewall, Quality of Service & Route Policy configurations. The router has full support for 802.1Q VLAN tagging, so that these subnets can be passed to other devices that support VLAN tags, such as the Dray Tek Vigor Switch G1080 8-port switch, for additional network ports. The Wireless LAN also links to these VLANs, making the same Guest & Private networks possible simply using different wireless SSIDs. Or connect up a Dray Tek Vigor AP wireless access point, such as the Vigor AP 903 to do the same, spanning the router's own wireless & any connected wireless APs. Integrated Vo IP Telephone Ports The Vigor 2765 Vac features an integrated Vo IP ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapter). This connects two analogue phones to Voice over IP for use with hosted PBX systems & Vo IP/SIP telephone services. Either 1 or 2 telephones or DECT handsets can be connected, for use independently & simultaneously, for both incoming & outgoing calls. Use the ' Digit-Map' feature to direct calls through different SIP/ Vo IP services. For instance, local calls can be made through one Vo IP provider. International calls would route through an alternative Vo IP provider, with better pricing on calls outside of the UK. Digit Map allows for extremely flexible call routing. Integrating the Vo IP ATA into the router ensures that no port forwarding or NAT handling is typically needed. Simply connect the Vigor 2765 Vac to the Internet & configure your Vo IP account details to make & receive calls. Designed for Central Management The Vigor 2765 series can be centrally managed along with Vigor AP's & switches, with the Vigor ACS central management platform. The firewall protects against attacks including Do S (Denial of Service) attacks, IP-based attacks & access by unauthorised remote systems. Wireless, Ethernet & VPN are also protected by various protection systems. The Dray Tek object-based firewall enables you to create combinations of Firewall rules & Content Filtering to suit a home or small office environment, applying Content Filtering to the whole network, only specified devices or just the network that guests can connect to. The Vigor 2765 supports both IPv 4 & IPv 6 with Dual-Stack IPv 4/IPv 6. Advanced networking features, such as the object-based Firewall, Quality of Service, Content Filtering & VLANs support both IPv 4 & IPv 6 networks. Web Content Filtering with DNS Filter The content control features of the Vigor 2765 allow you to set restrictions on web site access, blocking download of certain file or data types, blocking specific web sites with whitelists or blacklists, blocking IM/P2P applications or other potentially harmful or wasteful content. Restrictions can be per user, per PC or universal & according to time schedules. Content filtering can also block sites using HTTPS/SSL where URLs are encrypted (and normal routers cannot block). Using the Global View service, you can block whole categories of web sites (e.g. gambling, adult sites etc.), subject to an annual subscription, which is continuously updated with new or changed site categorisations or sites which have become compromised (such as infected with Malware). A free 30-day trial is included with your new router. Quality of Service with App Qo S Prioritise latency-sensitive applications on your network with Quality of Service. App Qo S simplifies setting up Quality of Service significantly, simply select which applications or services to prioritise, such as Zoom & Skype. Use 4 separate queues to give priority to servers & PCs (IP address), services such as Vo IP or DNS, or packet tagging used by IP phones with 802.1p & DSCP support Auto Voice VLAN allows the router to automatically prioritise Vo IP calls as they pass through the router without additional configuration. Control throughput with Bandwidth Limit, by setting speed limits for all clients individually, groups of IPs, or a shared bandwidth limit for a whole subnet, such as a Guest network. Central AP & Switch Management The Vigor 2765 can manage & aid in setting up Vigor AP access points & Vigor Switch switches, connected locally to the router. When used with other Vigor A Ps being managed by a Dray Tek Vigor router, Central AP Management's AP Load Balancing can ensure that wireless clients are shared equally between the access points, giving better overall bandwidth by avoiding overloading of a single access point. Wireless Security & VLANs The Vigor AP 802 features multiple levels of wireless security. Encryption using WPA2 is available & you can also use the access control list (ACL) to specify the hardware addresses of clients which are permitted to connect (by MAC hardware address). Any unauthorised hardware is refused access. For additional user authentication, you can have the Vigor AP 802 authenticate clients with an 802.1x RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-in User Service) server. The Vigor AP 802 supports the 802.1q VLAN protocol so that if it is connected to an 802.1q enabled LAN, it can split tagged data (whether it's different subnets or intended for different users) & broadcast each on its own SSID. AP & Repeater Modes The Vigor AP 802 can be used as a st&-alone Wireless Access Point, to provide wireless connectivity for a router or network that doesn't currently have wireless. Plug the Vigor AP 802's RJ-45 port into any Ethernet network & plug the AP itself into a wall socket for a tidy & space-efficient wireless solution. Access Point mode can create up to 2 separate Wireless networks (or SSIDs). The Vigor AP 802 can provide completely separate private & guest wireless networks through the use of 802.1q VLAN tags with a router or network that supports VLAN tagging, such as the Dray Tek Vigor 2862 router. Range Extender (or Universal Repeater) mode allows the Vigor AP 802 to extend the wireless coverage of any existing wireless network. In this mode, the Vigor AP 802 connects to a remote wireless network, allowing it to provide Internet & Network access to wireless clients that connect to the Vigor AP 802's wireless network. ...

The Dray Tek Vigor AP 902 is a wireless access point which can be operated in standalone or centrally managed/monitored mode (with the use of a central Dray Tek management product
- see later). The Vigor AP 902 is a high

Specification professional access point providing reliable & flexible coverage to all manner of applications. A vast array of security & management features helps the AP to improve & protect flexibility & integrity of your wireless LAN. The Vigor AP 902 is ideal for adding wireless connectivity to an existing LAN, or for expanding the range of an existing wireless LAN by using the WDS repeater features. Simultaneous Dual-Band Operation & Extended 5 Ghz Bands The Vigor AP 902 supports simultaneous operation of the common 2.4 Ghz band & faster 5 Ghz b&. The 5 Ghz band is far less congested so if your PCs or other devices support the 5 Ghz b&, you can use that. The 5 Ghz band is used for 802.11ac (or optionally 802.11n & 802.11a). The Vigor AP 902 operates both bands at the same time, allowing your devices to use either band & each has its own bandwidth so overall wireless capacity is also increased. The 5 Ghz interface supports the full range of extended domestic 5 Ghz channels, thank to its support for DFS/TPC; you can select all 5 Ghz channels up to channel 140, as opposed to just the 4 Band A-Lower channels (which provides only two non-overlapping channels). It has support for Band Steering which can be configured to guide clients that are able to connect to 5 G Hz wireless networks onto this band instead of the more congested 2.4 G Hz b&, which results in client connections being shared between the two frequencies more evenly, potentially increasing the number of wireless clients that can be connected to each Vigor Access Point. Gigabit Ethernet Ports The Vigor AP 902 has five wired Ethernet ports (separated into two distinct separated LANs). LAN A & LAN B can be fed separately & in turn broadcast on independent & isolated SSIDs. As the ports are all Gigabit, you can be sure that the AP is fed at the maximum speed in order to fully satisfy the full speed of both 2.4 G Hz & 5 Ghz bands simultaneously. The four ports on LAN A are particularly of use if you are using the AP as a wireless bridge as you can then connect wired PCs or devices to it. LAN Port 3 on LAN-A is also used as the Po E input if youre powering the AP by Po E.

The Vigor AP 903 is a dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 Mesh Wireless solution, designed to eliminate wireless drop outs, stuttering videos, slow download speeds, poor signal & Wi-Fi dead zones. One access point acts as the controller (Mesh root) & in total up to 8 access points create an easy to manage wireless mesh. Extend coverage without running expensive cabling. Dray Tek Mesh Wireless Mesh Wireless links Vigor AP access points across both Wi-Fi & Wired links to cover a large area with a single Wireless network, spanning multiple Wireless Access Points & easily managed from the Mesh Root Vigor AP or with the Dray Tek Wireless app. The Mesh Root Vigor AP links up to your existing Internet router, such as the Dray Tek Vigor 2862 & additional Vigor A Ps join up as Mesh Nodes, which connect wirelessly to the Mesh Root. New Interface with Dashboard View The Vigor AP 903 features a new web interface designed for use with tablets, phones & PCs, adapting to suit any device. Dashboard view gives a detailed overview of the Vigor A Ps status at a glance, see individual connected clients & their traffic usage, ports in use & the utilisation of the Vigor AP. Easy Setup with the Dray Tek Wireless app The new Dray Tek Wireless app assists you with setting up the Vigor AP 903 access points & Mesh Wireless network. Profiles for groups of access points can be provisioned in Vigor ACS by selecting a Vigor ACS network, then accessing Configuration > AP Profile to configure profiles & apply them selectively. Dray Teks Vigor ACS management monitors the Vigor AP 903, with a Dashboard view giving a central overview of the most important information from the Vigor A Ps current status. Central Management with a Dray Tek Router The Vigor AP 903 can operate in standalone autonomous mode, but can also form part of a centrally managed wireless installation by adding a compatible Dray Tek wireless controller such as the Vigor 2862 router.

Central AP Management Manage, maintain, & monitor Vigor AP 906 from the Dray Tek routers Assisted Wi-Fi Roaming Solve the sticky client problem & improve Wi-Fi roaming experience. Mesh (Wireless model only) Easily link to other Vigor AP to expand the wireless network Utilize Transmission Opportunity with OFDMA OFDMA has been used in LTE for many years, & is now available in 802.11ax for multi-user mode. Traditionally with OFDM, each frame is transmitted across the entire channel width. With low-rate transmission still using the whole channel, it brings latency & jitter to others & lower the overall efficiency. OFDMA splits a single transmission into groups of subcarriers, & each subcarrier can be used by different client. With multiple clients transmitting simultaneously in the same channel, it improves efficiency of every single transmission opportunity & thus increases the wireless experiences in high density environment. Making Transmission Effective Disassociate the Wireless clients who are out of the effective transmission range defined by custom Basic Rate or/and RSSI threshold, & force them to pick up another access point with a stronger signal. Resource Saving Proactively kick out the clients with a low basic rate or low RSSI can prevent the access points trying to do ineffective transmission but saving the airtime, which will results in better WLAN experience for all. No Controller Required Assisted Roaming is a feature built in all Vigor Access Points & selected Wireless routers. They operate without a wireless controller, providing an ideal solution for simple network deployment. Stronger Signal Guaranteed By using the " Minimum RSSI with Adjacent AP" option, the AP/ Router on the same local subnet will exchange client information with each other, providing the choice to disassociate the client only when other AP detecting a stronger signal. Thus to keep the client stayed when there is no other AP nearby. Three Modes in One AP Mode The mode mostly used Vigor AP acts as a bridge between wireless devices & wired Ethernet network, & exchanges data between them.
