De Longhi DNC65 Dehumidifier The De Longhi DNC65 is the lightest dehumidifier in the market & among the most compact. This model utilises brand new technology: unlike most dehumidifiers, the DNC65 does not use a compressor, which means it operates very quietly. This model is also environmentally friendly, because no refrigerant gases are required. A dehumidifier removes the excess moisture that we create on a daily basis through activities such as running baths & using washing machines, all of which can potentially lead to condensations, damp & mould. A dehumidifier is built to help you maintain a more constant level of humidity & alleviate these conditions. The higher its extraction rate, the more condensation will be controlled; the more efficient the unit, the lower its running cost. The DNC65 features three different dehumidification power levels: auto, max & min. It has an electronic shut-off timer, up to eight hours, & a tank control system that automatically stops the unit when the tank is full. The SWING function features three position-oscillating louvers to optimise the air distribution while the electronic anti-freeze allows the machine to be used at low temperatures (down to two degrees Centigrade). The water tank has a capacity of two Litres & a visible water level. The built-in ionizer fills the air with healthy negative ions, while the anti-bacterial filter cleans the air of dust & bacteria. All this is achieved with minimal noise: the unit operates at just 34 decibels. The DCN65 also features a clothes drying function that removes six litres of water per day at any temperature condition, even the lowest ones.
