Yacht & Zapcat Experience
This experience is as exciting as they come. Combining yacht sailing and powerboating, this day out on the water is unbeatable. Using the natural element of wind to propel a yacht along, sailing takes incredible teamwork and skill and when you get it right, its highly rewarding. Compared with the thrills of powerboating, this is about strapping in and enjoying the high speed exhilaration of powering across the waves and experiencing G-forces that you dont even find in some supercars. The whole experience is astonishing.ProgrammeTo begin your day of sailing you will first meet your skipper and the rest of the crew. This is followed by a short safety briefing where the skipper will describe the outline of the days events. First you will learn about yacht sailing. The session will be
spent getting to grips with the basics of sailing under the watchful eye of a yacht master. You will then set sail along the Brighton Coast, cruising past the piers and be given the privilege to see Brighton from the big blue. The session will finish with a quick race in the yachts. Next is where the action begins! You will be using the mean and lean Thundercats powerboat. These light multi-hull racing crafts with their big meaty engines will have your heart in your mouth. With better power to weight ratio than a Ferrari and creating up to 2G in the turns, you are in for a thrill. After some expert instruction in the art of these mean racing machines you will head out onto the water. The instructors will amaze you with what these boats can do. In very calm weather you may also get to
take the helm! The session also includes a high speed ride along the Brighton coast in a large RIB powerboat as well as a thrilling Zap Cat ride.DurationThis experience will last a full day.GroupThere will be other people there on the day.SpectatorsUnfortunately you cannot bring spectators to watch.FitnessYou must be reasonably fit and confident in the water. Concern over medical or health issues should be checked before purchase.ExperienceThere are no qualifications required.Minimum AgeThe minimum age is 16, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.AvailabilityThis experience is available Monday to Sunday, from April to October.Available LocationsSussex - Brighton
