This experience offers a great combination of relaxation, interest & hands-on fun at the Wedgwood Visitor Centre. Programme Your experience
Includes:: a self- guided tour of the centre including the recently opened Wedgwood museum, where you can learn all about Josiah Wedgwood & his company, see some rare museum pieces & watch the mastercraftspeople at work. Next, enjoy a two course lunch (served on Wedgwood china of course!) in the Ivyhouse restaurant. Then its time to get your hands dirty
- literally! Helped by a master craftsperson youll throw a pot or paint a plate. When youve finished, Wedgwood will fire your pot & post it to your home, where it can take pride of place on your mantelpiece. You will also receive a piece of Wedgwood jewellery handmade in the visitor centre (worth £50) Youll receive a privilege card for future admissions & 10% shopping discount on the day. You are welcome to stay on until the centre closes at 5pm. Duration Your tour lasts a minimum of 2 hours. Group Numbers on the day will vary as the centre is open to the public. Spectators Spectators cant join in the the classroom, but they can pay to enter the visitor centre. Fitness There are no fitness requirements for this activity. Experience There are no qualifications or experience required for this activity. Minimum Age There is no minimum age but under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult.
