The Intel Solid-State Drive 313 Series has been optimized for Intel Smart Response Technology, a hard drive caching algorithm built into the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver. When paired with a SATA hard drive in a properly configured system, the Intel SSD 313 Series caches frequently-used applications to improve system responsiveness while maintaining a single drive volume. Available in 2.5 inch SATA and mSATA form factors. Available in 20GB and 24GB capacities. For use as a performance-boosting hard drive cache in client PCs, providing the end user experience of a unified storage volume. In order to achieve this simplified caching usage model, the Intel SSD 313 must be installed in a system utilizing select Intel 6 Series or Intel 7 Series Chipsets and Intel Rapid Storage
