The MEC Series edge-type LED features LED lamps located on the sides of the panel. The lamps emit light on the display sides, resulting in a much thinner screen that requires fewer lamps than conventional panels. With fewer LED lamps, power consumption & heat emission are reduced & a slim, lightweight design can be achieved. With these improvements, a more enjoyable environment can be created for viewers in close proximity to the displays. Multiple Connectivity Options for Greater Control The Samsung MEC Series offers powerful connectivity, even when working with RJ45 & RS-232 connections, which competing displays solely rely upon. With the Samsung line of LED LFDs, both network types can be used simultaneously. Using a DVI loop out, a single presentational image can be shared with nearby screens. This feature eliminates the need to purchase separate video signal distributors for each device, further reducing equipment costs. Greater display flexibility with Image Rotation The MEC Series offers Image Rotation feature, enabling image orientation rotation from portrait to landscape for greater display flexibility. For convenience when rotating the image, two ratio options are available: original ratio or auto full sizing ratio. Image quality is preserved when the images are rotated, with no loss of ratio.
