The Olympus VG-170 is a budget priced digital camera. It has 14 megapixels & a 5x wide angle lens. At a shade over 22mm wide you should have no problem slipping the VG-170 into more or less any pocket. Compared to other budget cameras there are two or three features where the VG-170 compares very well. To start with the LCD screen is a full 3 inches in size. Although a few other budget cameras will match this size the majority will have a smaller screen. Next up is its ability to shoot High Definition movies. It also has a 3D shooting mode. There are two other features the VG-170 has that you may struggle to find with other brands. The first is that you can recharge the battery through a USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection. The second is that it is compatible with Eye-Fi memory cards. These allow you to upload photos to a computer wirelessly.
