The DuraReader scans bar codes printed on paper, card stock, or plastic. An infrared option is available for security-based applications, where bar codes are overprinted to prevent duplication. Reads Magnetic Stripe Card, up to 3 tracks of information with a single swipe in each direction. It's also capable of reading Barcodes and can be equipped with TTL, RS232 and Keyboard wedge interfaces. The DuraReader is designed for demanding applications such as access control or self-service kiosks. It's die-cast metal base, stainless steel wearplate and impact resistant housing makes it the ideal swipe-card reader in stand-alone, high volume traffic installations. The weatherproof design withstands harsh environments and will continue to operate even up to minus 35 degrees C. In addition
