Triggered whenever your baby utters a sound, allowing you to conveniently hear your child from the portable parent unit. Digital DECT technology for clear, uninterrupted communication without risk of eavesdropping by unwanted parties. Digital DECT offers superior range when compared to analogue systems, which means it is suitable for use in larger houses or even reaching out into the garden. If the signal is dropped when out of range, the parent unit will give both audio & visual warning indicators to alert you. The baby unit is set to non-emission standby mode when your baby is sleeping & quiet. Sending is only triggered once your baby makes noise. The baby unit is also equipped with a night light so that your baby always remains visible even in a dark room. The parent unit is equipped with a rechargeable battery which is charged while the parent unit is set into its charging dock. The baby unit is primarily mains operated using the power adaptor but also comes with a battery backup. 3 x AA/LR6 alkaline batteries are recommended, as the unit cannot be charged. The batteries automatically take over operation during power cuts to ensure continuous operation.
