A RAID volume on the Synology Rack Station can be expanded directly without having to reformat the existing drives, ensuring the Synology Rack Station continues providing services during capacity expansion. Synology RX415 can serve as a dedicated local backup solution for a Synology Rack Station. When created as a separate volume, the Synology RX415 provides a great backup solution for local drives in case of system failure. Reliable Plug-&-Use & Short-Depth Chassis Design RX415 securely connects to SynologyÂ’s 1U Rack Station servers with a specially designed e SATA cable, ensuring easy connection & maximum data throughput. With its exceptional 12-inches short-depth chassis design, RX415 can be deployed in both industrial standard environments & smaller server rooms with limited space. Optional Synology Rail Kits are also available for easy system maintenance. Green & Easy to Manage Deep Sleep can be manually configured to start automatically when the system has been inactive for a period of time.
