HP V-M200 Single Radio Dual Band 802.11n Access Point (WW)
The VM200 802.11n access point is easy to set up and features client access control to help keep your data safe. If your network is expanding this access point supports next generation IEEE 802.11n devices whilst also supporting previous generation IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b/g devices. Easy To Use Very easy to configure the M200 can be set up very quickly using the web user interface. Key settings are saved for fast configuration and for regular deployment scenarios. Managing the device is easy with different levels of access. Read-only for operators and a higher read-write level for managers. Management sessions are carried out in HTTPS for increased security. Connection & Frequency The VM200 is a dual band access point supporting 2.4Gz and 5 GHz frequency bands. The 2.4GHz band
supports IEEE 802.11b/g devices and new generation IEEE 802.11n wireless clients. The higher 5GHz band has less interference from other devices and operates both IEEE 802.11n and 802.11a devices. Flexibility This dual band access point manages four wireless communities with up to four Service Set Identifiers and VLANS (one per community). Top Security AS you would expect from HP there are robust security safeguards built into the M200. This includes AP client access control, local wireless traffic filtering, advanced encryption of data and restricting network access to authorised users only.
