Design Concept of Tranquillo: The tower CPU Cooler “ Rev. 2 Tranquillo” uses 4 power heat pipes & a special heat pipe constellation to achieve best heat transfer from CPU core to the aluminum fins in its class. Like the original cooler the Rev. 3 Tranquillo uses 4 power heat pipes & a unique heat pipe constellation to achieve identical high cooling performance as its multi award winner predecessor. The heat pipe constellation was further optimized to prevent potential conflicts from components on the latest mainboards. The new AMD clip enables the cooler to be install in four directions (4 x 90°). Now, the heatsink can mount a 2nd fan for an even better cooling performance. A silent 120mm fan with the intelligent GELID PWM (Pulse Width Module) control was chosen to compliment the heat sink. The new fan now comes without any clicking noise which was caused by the PWM IC in the previous fan. The fan blades were optimized & with a fan speed of min. 1000 rpm it guarantees a much higher airflow. The intelligent GELID PWM curve keeps the fan silent but accelerates the fan speed whenever additional cooling is needed.
