Designed For Success You wouldn’t expect a Mac Book Air style silhouette for this price but the Asus X552 Cl does have a pleasingly slim profile. & even with the built in DVD it still only weighs 2.15kg. Making it extremely portable & ideal for taking with you wherever you go. X552CL Performance The Intel i 3 core processor, graphics card & dynamic memory make this a fast & highly responsive machine. Perfect for work, study or home use. &, with the 64-bit Windows 8 operating system, it is so easy to multitask & manage your workload. Asus have also included two USB (Universal Serial Bus) 3.0 ports on this machine. This makes data transfer around ten times faster than with standard USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0 ports. Transfer movies in seconds rather than in minutes. Another feature that we will all appreciate is the two second restart from standby. No more sitting around stamping your foot in frustration while you wait for the laptop to wake. Gaming On A Budget Unlike other laptops in this price range the Asus X552CL has a good graphics card already installed. With the n Vidia GT710M on board it is possible to do some serious gaming & it can even handle some 3D games. Screen Display The screen on the Asus X552CL is a 15.6” LED backlit thin film transistor LCD display. An n Vidia Ge Force GT 710M provides a 3D graphics boost to the laptop which makes charting, multimedia & presentations far easier to handle. Green Power The Asus 552CL wakes from sleep in just a couple of seconds so getting started is quite quick. The 37 W.H. Lithium Ion Battery gives five hours battery usage. Graphics Power Running a benchmark for all components returns a very respectable score & a full 6GB of memory even allow photo or video editing. Dedicated graphic in the Asus bring the possibility of gaming with it as we saw it zipping along at 50 (FPS) frames per second in some intensely heavy 3D games.
