Anselmo (Nini) Vitale was born in Milan in 1929; he graduated from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura in Venice where he met Carlo Mazzeri with whom he started collaborating in 1961 on the design of the Alessi companys Avio line. Their collaboration continued with gratifying results through a professional association that lasted more than ten years & through ongoing consultancy work with companies manufacturing household articles & white goods.
